SAN FRANCISCO, 1863.  Through the dark eyes of Victorian fiend and notorious best-selling author Fitz Hugh Ludlow, THE HASHEESH EATER conjures one 'elevated' evening on the dirt streets of a distant, bohemian boomtown.
